God's Solution:
The Great Exchange

Fortunately, God is a God of both justice and love. The same day that Adam and Eve sinned - dooming everyone born after them (which is everyone), God also arranged for us to have a way back to our perfect relationship with him. It was through Jesus Christ, his only Son and our Lord.
You see, Jesus was both God and man. God from all eternity (meaning forever before and after), Jesus came to Earth and was born to Mary. He was completely human, just like us in every way except one: Jesus had no sin. None!
He became the perfect sacrifice for us. Willingly, out of love for us, Jesus gave up his life on the cross, that all sins of all time would be paid for. He tells us this in his own Word. (2 Corinthians 5:21- God made him who had no sin to be sin[a] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Because of his perfect and complete sacrifice and resurrection three days later, Jesus has now performed the most miraculous math of all: By adding our sins to his cross, God declares us holy again and eternal life is ours! We have been redeemed - bought back by God through Jesus. We can now say boldly:
God Loves Us!

"The Lord our Righteousness" (Jeremiah 23:6)
"Look the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world" (John 1:29)
"The Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all" (Isaiah 53:6)
"God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God."
